(HOW-TO) Set-up a Network
If you want to setup a network where some users are not administrators, installing in this manner will correct any issues with automatic updates and ensure all operators automatically get the latest version with no further admin intervention in the future:
Step 1: Log off as the non-ADMIN user.
Step 2: Log on as an ADMIN user.
Step 3: Go to CONTROL PANEL> ADD REMOVE PROGRAMS> and uninstall the OLD version of ChatStat.
Step 4: Save the following file to your desktop - (http://v5.chatstat.com/install/setup.exe)
Step 5: Right-click on the setup file and choose RUN AS ADMIN. In XP, you may also see a checkbox which says, “Protect this Computer”. Uncheck this box.
Step 6: Proceed to install ChatStat. During the install, if prompted, please choose FOR ALL USERS OF THIS COMPUTER when requested. Then finish the install normally.
